About Mountains In My Heart Cabins

 Situated between McKinley Mountain and Katy Mountain, the area now home to Mountains In My Heart Cabins (MIMHC) brings to life the picturesque mountain vacation of your dreams. Kenneth is no stranger to the area, having grown up frequenting the Ouachita Mountains with his family. After looking for cabins in the area for some time, he had the opportunity to acquire five cabins in 2020, which make up the cabins MIMHC offers today.

Together with his wife, Vicky, Kenneth embarked on a mission to convert MIMHC's cabins to serve the purposes of every outdoor seeker interested in what the Ouachita National Forest has to offer.

What makes MIMHC so special is its proximity to hiking trails, ATV trails, and swimming holes, while maintaining sufficient privacy between cabins. This makes for perfect intimate getaways and adventurous outdoor experiences alike. However, the convenient location of these cabins isn't the only perk you'll experience while staying at MIMHC. Kenneth himself will share with you what he calls the "little gems" he's found while scouring the nearby mountains all these years. From swimming holes to vistas, you'll want to be sure you take advantage of Kenneth's intimate connection with the area.

 MIMHC is a passion project of Kenneth and Vicky that continues to this day. So far, three cabins make up the MIMHC domain, with the other two cabins on the way.
